Why villas, houses & apartments are an ideal sector

Homes and rentals combine comfort-sensitive occupants with devices that run for long hours: refrigerators/freezers, AC or heat pumps, water heating, ventilation, lighting, and standby loads. This creates a big opportunity for measurable yearly savings.

  • Many loads are continuous (“always-on”), so small W reductions create large yearly kWh savings.
  • Results are easy to replicate across multiple units (same appliances, layouts, routines).
  • Clear pilot story for owners, guests/tenants, investors and ESCO partners.

Method: Δ-Indicator™ / ΔE* translates technical changes into simple outcomes: kWh/year, €/year, and (optionally) CO₂.

How the residential pilot works – in 3 steps

Basic data & first estimation
You submit property basics via an online form (type, m², appliances, cooling/heating, bills). We estimate potential savings using ΔE* (kWh/year and €/year).

Pilot concept & scope
Define scope: what to optimise now (no-cost), what to replace first (fast payback), and what to plan later — comfort preserved.

Implementation & measurement
Measures are implemented in phases. The effect is measured and summarised, ready for roll-out across additional units.

Each property is different. In the pilot, we focus on the highest-impact areas with practical payback:

  • Fridge/freezer efficiency & placement
  • Cooking / small kitchen devices (where relevant)
  • Laundry (washer/dryer) cycles & efficiency
Comfort systems
  • AC / heat pump settings & schedules
